Trumao: Un Ensayo Sobre la Venganza / Short film

Sinopsis:

Con la idea de recomponer el cuerpo desmembrado por la violencia sexual y de clase, la obra ensaya respuestas hibridando los lenguajes de la danza, el cine y la performance, para abordar la memoria tras el derrumbe de la identidad de un cuerpo feminizado.
Archivo familiar, voces, textos de una bitácora, danza y vocalidad producidas en una investigación performática y en la experimentación con medios tecnológicos configuran este ensayo.
La desposesión del archivo y de historiografía para las clases empobrecidas se hace síntoma de aquella misma violencia que opera despojando al cuerpo de sí mismo.
La historia de una bisabuela pobre y analfabeta como vacío, lo inefable de un dolor antiguo, territorios de la zona central de Chile, raíces, mineral y carbón como huellas con las que la obra se pregunta por la materialidad de la memoria transmitida cuerpo a cuerpo, permitiendo una revisión generacional de la cultura de la violación imbricada en la trama familiar, histórica, y afectiva del cuerpo.
La idea de rito estructura el montaje para remecer el temblor de la memoria irrumpe cuando ésta irrumpe.

With the idea of recomposing the body dismembered by sexual and class violence, the work rehearses responses by hybridizing the languages of dance, film and performance, to address the memory after the collapse of the identity of a feminized body.
Family archive, voices, texts from a logbook, dance and vocality
vocality produced in a performative research and in the experimentation with technological media make up this essay.
The dispossession of the archive and of historiography for the impoverished classes becomes a symptom of that same violence that operates by stripping the body of itself.
The story of a poor and illiterate great-grandmother as emptiness, the ineffable of an ancient pain, territories of central Chile, roots, mineral and coal as traces with which the work questions the materiality of memory transmitted body to body, allowing a generational review of the culture of rape imbricated in the family, historical and affective fabric of the body.
The idea of rite structures the montage to shake the tremor of memory when it bursts.
